What’s a book that you picked up on a whim and were pleasantly surprised with?

I've had a few of these lately that have been great. I recently grabbed a copy of "How to Be A Dark Lord And Die Trying" by Django Wexler. Never heard of the author, looked vaguely interesting and the book was a blast beginning to end.
