Hey folks, happy 2025! So, I’ve recently been playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and have been loving it. As a result, I’ve been jonesin’ for a book that gives off similar vibes. It could also be similar to the Dan Brown books, as I’ve also read and enjoyed those. For additional context, I started into the Seven Deadly Wonders by Matthew Reilly and, while it’s fun, it’s a bit…much. I found it to be a little too over the top. I’m also considering the Sigma Force series or the Cotton Malone series. Maybe those are what I’m looking for, if so let me know. I’d like the book to be well written, and not just action every sentence. I want to care about the characters. I’d love a series, but I’m open to stand alone books too. Thanks for your help, readers!

I haven’t read it in a while but {{Amazonia by James Rollins}} has an Indiana Jones vibe. No nazis or anything but it’s a jungle adventure involving mysterious tribes/bad guys/general jungle exploration and adventure fun.
You might like to try Michael C. Grumley’s The Last Monument. It has a Da Vinci Code and Indiana Jones vibe. An adventure/mystery with a touch of sci fi.
Murderer’s Ape by Jakob Wegelius
Beau Geste by P.C. Wren (I was just recommending this for another question then realized it was a good fit for this!) I think there are also sequel books that I haven’t read.
