I just finished The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez and the entire journey was beautiful, ethereal, poetic, and inspiring. I’ve never read anything quite like this.
**I’m looking for sci-fi or fantasy books with similar writing style—anything with wonderful prose honestly.
The Booktok/instagram dozen (Brando Sando, SJM, Stephen King, Joe Abercrombie, John Gwynn, etc. etc.) are not interesting to me. Robin Hobb’s Assassin’s Apprentice is on my TBR.
