lately i've been in a state of apathy/numbness and i desperately need to feel something to feel human again. The books people have recommended to me have always been about those classic love stories and i never really follow through with them because I don't think I want to read about that typical love story. I want something gut-wrenching, heart shattering, and a book that will leave an imprint on my heart long after i've read it. Can someone help me out?
