I want to build a collection of books there are preferably historical non fiction (although fiction is okay too as long as it’s based in accurate research and representation) that touch on not just important global issues, but issues that a lot of people are rarely aware of/educated on. It can be as “radical” or “hard to read” as you like, a couple examples of books that had a major affect on me and are what I’m looking for: Night by Elie Wiesel and Medical Apartheid: The Dark History of Medical Experimentation on Black Americans from Colonial Times to the Present
