My city is about to be hit with a massive winter storm on Sunday and I'm going to spend 12+ hours plowing snow. I'm planning on listening to an audiobook while I drive, so I'm looking for something to stay on theme since I'll be immersed in the right scenery.
I'm open to most genres, fiction or non, just not romance or basically anything that might attract attention if someone hears it from outside the truck. If I pull up beside someone at a light and they hear me blasting some erotica, I might get some looks. Also, I feel a little bashful about erotica on audiobook, and I think it's time I finally admt it.
I like historical non fiction, thrillers, horror, comedies, and true crime. I've already read Into Thin Air by John Krakauer, so that's out.
Length of the book isn't a big deal (as long as it isn't 40+ hours long like The Stand or It).
I have an Audible membership (I know they have some stuff that's free with a subscription), Libby, and would be willing to purchase a title if I need to.
Thank you so kindly in advance for helping a public servant stay entertained during an upcoming Snowpocalypse!

The Revenant or something about the Donner party.
Lighthearted but still murders – Murder On The Orient Express
You could try *The Shining* by Stephen King.
