I finished A Gentleman in Moscow last night, and the ending positively dazzled me. In some ways, it reminded me of the climax of The Shawshank Redemption. I gasped with delight seeing things fall into place. Besides the Count of Monte Cristo, what are some other books that offer this sort of satisfaction?

I think that The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North would fit the bill.
