Does anybody have a recommendation for good Egyptian books, i.e. books either written by an Egyptian author or taking place in Egypt? Fiction or non-fiction. Preferably a modern book, from 20th or 21st century.
Googling just shows loads of stuff about ancient Egypt and mythology, which is great, but not really what I’m looking for.
