Suggest me something funny and lighthearted

My daughter is going in for a heart procedure soon and I need to occupy my mind for 6 hours in the most positive, can’t put this book down, it’s so funny and captivating way so I don’t absolutely lose it in the waiting room. It’s her first time going under anesthesia and the universe has decided it’s going to be for her heart of all things. I loved the book, “sorry I’m late, I didn’t want to come” and I’m hoping to find something like that again as I’m a little anti social, but once I’m out I enjoy it. Absolutely no death, especially spouses or children. Thanks!
