Ok so this might be an odd request. But I was reading a single mom book with the FMC reconciling with her child's dad and it triggered me a lot. I both hate and love single mom recs. Because I'm the child in the scenario as I was raised by one and it's always a trigger for me but since I'm a masochist I end up reading it again and again. This time the trigger was really bad. So basically I need a little reverse of the single mom trope to sooth my bruised heart and my abandonment issues.
Basically what I want is for the FMC to be raised by her single mom growing up angry and resenting her dad. Only for her dad to find her years later and she learns from him he never knew of her existence until a now. Her mother always taught her lover knew but left them but the dad never knew and now that he does he starts doing everything he can to reconcile with the FMC and her mom. The MMCs can be anyone but bonus if he is close to FMC's dad or if he is the reason the fmc's dad found out about her, or he is loyal to the fmc's dad. Anything. But the main thing is I want the fmc's parents to reconcile and by seeing that the FMC going from a skeptic about love to falling in love with the MMC.
The genre doesn't matter, I'm ok with anything as long neither the dad or MMC aren't assholes or hurt the FMC in anyway. Also the dad shouldn't have known about the fmc's existence before. Like there's no way he would abandon her if he knew about her kind of energy. Other than that I'm pretty much open to anything.
I know this is a rather very specific request and trust me I searched a lot but haven't come around to anything like this. It's always tht the FMC herself is a single mom and not FMC having been raised by a single mom. So pls give me any books atleast close to this. I need something like this to get me out of my triggered state! Advance thanks for any soul who gives me recs! Thanks.
