I love origin stories. I want books about well-known characters and how they came to be who/what they are.
And I do mean story. I want it to read like any other novel, but it just happens to be about the history of a famous character.
The subject should be a character that is already known. I don't really care about the origins of somebody I've never heard of before.
I prefer fictional characters, but non-fiction is okay too.
