Suggest a book where humans are the aliens on earth
Are there any fiction books out there that have humans coming to earth as the alien race? Like earth is going great until humans come from another planet (possibly from another planet they depleted/destroyed) ?
W Michael Gear’s Donovan series is amazing. In this story the humans are reaching a new planet to start a colony (not earth ) and are the aliens. It is a very hostile planet and shit goes wrong fast.

Not EXACTLY what you’re looking for, but you might check out “Hard To Be a God” by Boris and Arkady Strugatsky.
Future humans blend in and act as observers on an alien world populated by a humanlike species, but going through its own medieval era. However, they’re not allowed to interfere with the natural progression of the planet’s history.

Not exactly like you described but, earthlings by sayaka murata is about humans that think they are aliens. It is a good book but very gruesome and might be triggering for some people.

This is actually a plot point that occurs in one of the sequels to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. I hate to tell you this, but I don’t think it’s revealed until the third book in the series.

Not quite the same, but in the same vein is The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury.
