I read bad books, it’s kind of my thing. I’m running out of series that I personally know so I’m looking for more! Some examples of what I’ve read and loved are Twilight, Pretty Little Liars, Wings, Wolves of Mercy Falls, ACOTAR and Maximum Ride. I even dip into middle grade a little with Diary of an 8-bit Warrior. My next target is After by Anna Todd. I do skew towards fantasy but I welcome cheesiness and entertaining mediocrity of all types. Thanks in advance!

I’m sure it’s already on your radar since it’s so popular, but Fourth Wing was this for me. Some friends and I decided to read it together knowing we’d hate it and make a sort of book club of it.
It was an absolute blast. The book was so awful and predictable that we made a huge bingo card after reading like 3 chapters and by the end 18/25 of our predictions came true. At our meeting we spent 2 full hours *heatedly* complaining about this book. Going off about the insane logistics of this poorly thought out world, the cringe romance stuff, the insufferable main character. Lots of fun! We decided to keep reading books and doing book clubs about it but Fourth Wing is still my favourite we did because of how heated we got.
I will say that especially if you’re entrenched in this genre you’ll have extra fun because it has just about every trope you can imagine and things go exactly how you expect them to. Almost comforting, in a way.

Oh oh oh I can’t remember the name but I will try so hard to find it for you! Only book I ever DNF’d. YA, cover was full of roses, story I think was some sort of magic school situation? Once it got to the romance I couldn’t keep going but I can see it being pretty delightful to hate-read. I will try and find it!
Atlantis grail series, inheritance games series
Both of those are good and cringy YA at the same time.
Nevernight Chronicle by Jay Kristoff is fun and terrible and charming. Dark fantasy trilogy about a murder cyclone of a teenage assassin, Mia Corvere, with too much sex and fountains of gore and wildly over-the-top writing.
Read Nothing But Blackened Teeth! It’s so bad, but it has such a great title! It’s horror but it’s isn’t scary at all, as most of the book is a bunch of young people arguing over boys

I really enjoyed reading the Kingdom of the Wicked trilogy, I don’t think it’s awful but I think it definitely captures the vibe you’re looking for. I had a blast with it as long as I didn’t take it too seriously lol
