I’m a gay woman in my 30s and I’ve dressed like a schlub my whole life. But now I’m at a point in my career where I end up in front of important people and I actually want to look good. I’m wondering if there are good books out there to help someone like me grasp fashion basics, build a style they’re comfortable in, and dress in ways that look good for their body type.
My major concerns are:
– Looking professional and also gay, so other gay people approach me and straight people don't do a double take at my wife.
– I have an unusual body type (huge knockers) so most clothes aren’t necessarily designed for me to look professional.
– Making people go “wow they have cool style”
It’s easier for me to commit time to reading a book rather than browsing pinterest or shopping with a personal stylist. Anyone have fashion/style book recommendations?
