Figured I'd ask as many as possible. Some Halloween reading gave me a taste of short horror with rainy or foggy atmospheres, such as "How The Night Receives Them" and "Tell Them I Died Quietly" by Kealan Patrick Burke and "The Cistern" by Ray Bradbury. I really want more.
I am open to novels that use this kind of ambience but I'm mostly wanting short reads for mornings and evenings.
