Ive been trying to get interested in reading again, i want to find something that will be engaging enough and hopefully not too difficult to ease my way into a habbit of reading again. I was looking at the book "The Hot Zone" and was wondering if i should read that first since its non-fiction and may be more engaging. I also was maybe looking into stephan kings works as well, as I loved all of his movies. Some info about what ive read… I've read a decent amount in highschool a few books of my own choosing and some mandatory reads as well. Catcher in the rye, flowers for Algernon, Into the wild, The hunger games books and the maze runner are books i liked and thought were amazing or at the very least digestable… The great Gatsby, wuthering heights and lord of the flies I did not enjoy reading. I thought they were either too difficult to read or contained things thay were hard to immerse myself into. I could put Under The Dome into that category as well, which is the one Stephan King book which I've read at least part of. I couldn't finish Under The Dome though. The subject material was disturbing and pushed me away a bit and the jump between several characters were hard to follow…
Ive read more books but these are the ones that I could say have stuck with me the most, if anyone can glean what I've said and give me some really good solid books to get lost in, please let me know. Thanks.
