I'm a pretty slow reader so I hope as I read more I'll become more of a fast reader.
So I don't want something too complicated to start with.
My favourite genres are: fantasy, fiction, romance (I love pretty much all love tropes), adventure, thriller and some horrors.
I also love writing/reading poetry.

I like to recommend The Neverending Story (bonus if you get a color printed version). Animal Farm, 1984, The Shinning, Jitterbug Perfume, Me Talk Pretty One Day are all books I got into right away and loved. It lead me to read other books as a result. Also, don’t sweat about how fast you read. I’m not very fast but some books I read slower and some I read faster sometimes based on the content or writing style. Read because you enjoy it and don’t worry how long you take to read it.
Lord of the Rings. Once you read those books, you will be looking for something as good for the rest of your life. You’ll never be able to stop again because you will be eternally attempting to recreate the lord of the rings reading experience.
