I am currently devouring Ann Rule’s The Stranger Beside Me.
I’m loving it as much for the fabulous prose — Rule’s writing is right up my street — as for the fact that I don’t know anything about Ted Bundy, how it all ends or how horrific his crimes were.
I’d love to enjoy a similar book. Perhaps the Manson family, who I again really know nothing about, or other v dark serial killers? Or perhaps another of Rule’s books, even though I guess nothing compares to this one for the obvious insane connection between writer & killer.
