authors similar to philip pullman?

so i’ve been rereading his dark materials and just loving it, but it’s so short 🙁 i plan to read his sally lockhart series after this, but after that im looking for something similar and struggling (preferably fantasy)
particular aspects i like/looking for:

• Pullman’s use of language i.e places, names, objects

• depth in worldbuilding and lore (didnt like the cruel prince as i felt this was a little weak for me if that helps?)

• ideally not looking for romance subplots but can be open to it

• depth in plots

• depth in history/lore of universe
