Suggest me some spiritual and religious books by indian authors.

I want to learn more about Hinduism. The only book i read so far was the hidden hindu (which i know is fiction but i like the connection the author makes to our scriptures). I am also reading Bhagavad Gita by S. Radhakrishnan.
