Books similar to those by Greg Iles?

I discovered Greg Iles late last year and am tearing through his books at a pace I didn’t even know I could accomplish. I’m close to finished with his full Penn Cage series and will move on to his standalones, but was wondering – in the meantime – what other authors/books are similar to Iles? I’ve read Grisham, Dan Brown, Laird Barron, and Patterson before (appreciating Grisham the most out of those listed), but I haven’t had a novelist grip me like Iles has done with his novels. Any suggestions of books by other authors similar to Iles? Thanks in advance and happy reading everyone.
