I bought my wife Piranesi for Christmas After seeing it on a Reddit recommendation page. She absolutely inhaled it and I was hoping to get any other suggestions in that vein so I can continue to look learned and discerning. Thanks 🙏 by sivinski Related: When I was younger I really really enjoyed fear street books by r.l. Stine. I still remember parts of “double date” more than a decade later. I’m 28 now. Was reading fear street at around 12 years old. Fiction books based on “real” conspiracies or paranormal events Suggest me something you’re currently reading! Well written/engaging biographies about the Shelleys, Byron, etc. Novellas to finish out 2023?

TheCrabappleCart on January 7, 2025 10:51 pm There’s nothing really like *Piranesi*, and that’s one of the things that makes it so great! (Although apparently it was inspired by *The Invention of Morel* by Adolfo Bioy Casares, which I haven’t read.) However, one of the cool things about it is that you don’t know exactly what’s going on at first, and only gradually figure it out. I agree with the top suggestion of *Lincoln in the Bardo*.
