give recs for this burnt out writer and binge reader

i do this thing where i read 5 books then not read for a few years. i’m also a writer and need to read again.

the book that really changed my writing is the things they carried and my favorite books are aristotle and dante discover the secrets of the universe & tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.

i’m not into fantasy or sci-fi. pls give me ur recs !!
