I’ve always gravitated towards paperbacks. Not sure why, easier to hold maybe? I don’t have to worry about where I put the dust jacket (because there’s no way in hell I’m reading it with that thing on). That said, I do love the look of a hardcover on the shelf. In any case, curious where you all land on this.

Paperbacks nearly every time. They’re lighter, easier to handle, and take up less shelf space.
Same here ! Paperbacks so portable etc. since I take them to work often but then my hardbacks look so nice … I’ll admit on occasion I’ve bought both because 😂
I definitely prefer paperbacks.
They’re easier to carry, fit better in my bag, I hate the dust jackets, and some of them are pretty too – I love the Penguin ones with the orange spines… Plus they are cheaper.
