I’m looking to gift a well-written, smart book with an intriguing storyline to a friend of mine. Ideally, it shouldn’t be too long and be easy to read with a sharp wit. My friend has traveled extensively and has a particular love for South America & Japan, so I think he’d enjoy a story set there. I was thinking about something in the style of Savage Detectives.
