HELP! Suggestions for Dutch/Flemish/ English short stories (May be longer books as well), short audio stories (or podcasts), graphic novels (rather not strips)… related to solving mysteries/ in detective genre.
I have to create a series of lessons for my pupils (14 year olds) related to detectives. I wanted to start off by discovering different types of detective stories, for example who's done it, solving a mystery (stranger things) by giving them either excerpts, a story to listen to like a part of an audio book or a graphic novel for visualisation. Then we go over to solving a mystery ourselves by comparing certain stories (in any form) with each other in 3 different languages.
I am however mostly stuck on the Dutch part. (These lessons will combine English, Dutch and French. However my coworker is working on finding the French counter parts.) English suggestions are always welcome as well! Then I can see if I am on the right track!
