I am sort of meanderingly trying to challenge myself to read a book from every country around the world. I first began it because I love books with a strong sense of place, where I can really feel like I'm traveling from my couch. The ones I've most enjoyed so far are those that mostly deal with everyday life, or that are slower paced reflective. For example, I loved Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop from South Korea, as well as Three Summers from Greece. Does anybody have other books that will make me feel like I'm being taken on a relaxing journey around the world?

For Iceland, Animal Life by Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir
I would recommend lkigai and Forty rules of love . Two are very different from each other though .
