I used to be a big reader but idk, life happened and idk what to even read anymore or what I like.

I’ve asked my friends but their only suggestions were ACOTAR (which, meh. And I’m almost finished with but it was a slog that I didn’t enjoy) and Coleen Hoover which I also hate read the two books I read.

I loved the HP series and have read them several times and they are comfort food to me.

My favorite book of all time is East of Eden. I suppose I could do a re-read since it’s been about 20 years since I went on a John Steinbeck tear.

I don’t enjoy chick lit stuff or really fluffy stuff but I’m also struggling with some anxiety, so i probably don’t need something with a really complicated story line.

I have a kindle, but when I go to the kindle store I just get overwhelmed with options and reviews, and opt out.

I enjoy non fiction but I think I want something fiction.

I know I didn’t give a ton of direction, but I think it’s because I just don’t know what I want. Thanks in advance.

    1. Try Wallace Stegner. He’s as close as it gets to another Steinbeck and isn’t talked about nearly enough these days as one of the American greats

I also love love love East of Eden. I hardly heard anyone else say it’s their favorite. Check out JL Hyde books. They’re thrillers, which is not normally my chosen genre, but they grabbed my attention and with each one being around 250 pages, they’re a quick read to get you back into a reading habit 🥰

I know the title sounds *so* stupid, but listen to dungeon crawler Carl. You are siting on Bitcoin before it became a household name.
