It’s been years now since i’ve read and finished any book. When I tried to read some I found off tiktok, the plot was either too dry or the romance wasn’t slow enough to build up any anticipation for it. I wanted to try to get back into reading this new year because truthfully I adore it but I just struggle with finding books I enjoy reading.
I’m a true romantic at heart though, and if i’m gonna fall in love with any book it would 100% have romance somewhere in it but I don’t like when it’s the main genre of a book. Id prefer any mystery, horror or fantasy genre and bonus points if anyone has any gothic recommendations. I suppose i’m desperate for a unique or just nail biting plot that also has some romance in it because I feel like I can only ever find one or the other but not both. I feel that I NEED both if i’m actually going to manage to finish a single book this year. Any help at all would be immensely appreciated!!
