Hi everyone!
I’ve found recently that my attention span has been pretty shot, and I don’t have the same interest or dedication to pick up and work through a long book.
I’m looking for suggestions of books that are less than 200 pages.
Some of my favorites novellas are Frederick Backman’s and Mitch’s album’s, but I’ll also take anything more lighthearted, as long as it’s well-written and interesting.
Extra points for anything queer/LGBTQ+ (I just read Oranges are Not the Only Fruit and loved it).
I know I didn’t give much direction, so feel free to ask any questions.

A Psalm For The Wild-Built is your answer here – short, lighthearted, interesting world-building, and it features several non-binary characters and queer relationships.
Charles Baxter’s “Believers” is the best thing he ever wrote.
I enjoyed Different Seasons by Stephen King, it’s a collection of four novellas.
