I was reading a lot but now I’m in a slump where I can’t get into anything. I’m looking for a cozy mystery book that will draw me in. I loved the Thursday Murder Club series, it doesn’t have to be exactly like that but that is one example. Thanks !

    1. The bookshop detectives; Dead Girl Gone by Gareth & Louise Ward. Which is about…bookshop owners that get involved in a mystery.

Also there is a new Richard Osman out – We Solve Murders.

Vera Wong’s unsolicited advice for Murderers – Jesse Q Suntanto which as a good found family vibe

The Marlow Murder Club + and following books by Robert Thorogood (he writes the Death in Paradise books which is a show you might have heard of, i’ve seen the show but not read that series. I assume it’s also good!)

I don’t know if they are all cozy but they are fun and lovely and i think they are similar to Thursday Murder Club

Slightly less cozy and a bit more spy-y The Spy Coast by Tess Gerritson which has a similar concept of an older group of people who are retired spies.

I’m yet to read them (they are on my next up list), but you might like **The Tea Ladies** series by **Amanda Hampson** or **Laura Childs’** books.

**Harini Nagendra’s Kaveri and Ramu series** are a tiny bit darker than your typical cosy mysteries but still have sweet moments. The **Phryne Fisher** books or **A Disappearance in Fiji by Nilima Rao** might be up your alley.
