Looking for a book similar to “Annihilation” by Jeff Vandermeer

I just started reading after awhile of not, and this was my first pick. I know this series was devisive, i heard from reviews that it dipped too much into the “incomprehensible/unexplained” stuff too much, but it scratched an itch ive had for awhile now. Ive been super interested in the "incomprehensible" for awhile now and would love more similar books. Havnt finished the series yet, but i plan to. Book one, despite its flaws, was very fulfilling to me and i really enjoyed it. A lot of the issues other people had with it werent an issue with me, and in fact were what i was looking for. Any other books (or story games) similar would be awesome. (I also marked this as sci-fi, but ill add here that Horror is completely welcomed in this conversation.)
