Feel like I've run out of all the stuff I wanted to read over the last few years so I'm hoping for some suggestions for a couple well written non-fiction books. I lean more towards science, history/classics and general non-fiction. If it helps narrow some suggestions down
Favorite Authors: Carl Sagan (read all his books, Cosmos and "Varieties of Scientific Experience" are my personal favorites) and Christopher Hitchens (high quality writing even if I'm not in complete agreement with him sometimes).
Honorable mentions: "Your Inner Fish" by Neil Shubin (fantastic book) as well as "Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs" by Steve Brusatte.
Also enjoyed: Jared Diamond (I'm aware that some of his takes are a over-simplified or a bit controversial, but I enjoy the reads). Arlie Russel Hochschild's "Strangers in their own land", Steven Pinker, Randall Munroe. I'm not usually a big fan of psych books but found 'You are not so smart" , "Mistakes were made" and "On being certain".
From what I've listed, any suggestions you can share?
