I’d love to have some suggestions for your favourite whodunnits. I absolutely adore Agatha Christie, the cozy charming English setting and characters, the elaborate murders paired with the neat tie ups at the end, etc. I’d appreciate any suggestions!

Rex Stout’s “Nero Wolfe” series
I’ve searched far and wide to find a replacement for Agatha Christie, so I get it.
You might like Craig Rice, Home Sweet Homicide. A funny, charming, cozy classic of Golden Age mystery fiction.
If you try Dorothy Sayers, you might like to start with Murder Must Advertise. Especially if you like the way Christie captures a cultural snapshot. Murder Must Advertise captures a lovely cultural snapshot in the same way.
Try some of the other Golden Age writers – Dorothy Sayers, Margery Allingham, Josephine Tey, Ngaio Marsh.
Are you looking for vintage crime or modern novels written in a vintage style (and vintage setting as well maybe)?
