A B/N just opened by me. I have no interest in supporting big box stores if I can help it, but I wanted to see what it looked like. While it looks great in there, one thing really stood out. What’s up with the size of their books? All the paperbacks are the same size as the hardbacks. I’m used to being able to keep a book in my pocket. Are these the cheap direct print books I hear people complaining about? They look good on a shelf, but you’d have to carry a wizard tome around. Hard pass.
