Long story short, I had a TERRIBLE nightmare a couple of days ago, I'm still a little terrified by it, and why the hell would my psyche come up with something like that, but I also got really hyperfixated on the concept of dreams and sleep, in a way that I never had before. I'm reading both academic papers on REM and stuff and personal reflexions of different people on what they've been dreaming about. And so far, it's been a great way for me to reflect on what that even was. I want to read something that has to do with it too. Can be both fiction and non-fiction. I will appreciate it, if it's something along the lines of "The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows" or it has a Lynchian spot of atmosphere to it. Thanks a lot!

Many Lives of Christopher Chant by Diana Wynne Jones. It’s about a wizard who walks through dreams. Great book
‘Jonathan Abernathy, you are kind’ is an interesting book.
Mine suggestions will both be fiction:
Dallergut Dream Department Store by Miye Lee
Early Riser by Jasper Fforde
Both books have quite different stories and takes on dreaming within their respective stories
*The Interpretation of Dreams*, Sigmund Freud. It is indeed a great book.
