Hi there!
My 6yr old (7 in a few months) is at an almost 3rd grade reading level. I'd like to continue challenging her in this area. She likes to read, but I'd like to find new books that really excite her. She LOVES animals of all kinds! I think she would enjoy funny books and light mysteries, nothing scary or sad.
I would like to get her interested in Rick Riordan & Rick Riordan Presents books, but I think they might be a bit too scary for now. Any suggestions for similar, but not as intense?
Also, preferably with characters of color and female characters 😁 She is currently reading Star Friends series, Magical Rescue Vets series, but i think she could use something a little harder than those.
