I am looking for a book with one of those endings where everything was connected and fate comes together so satisfyingly. And preferably one with an effervescent or quirky vibe. If you’ve read or seen Douglas Adams (specifically “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency”), or read Vonnegut’s “Sirens of Titan”, that’s the magic I’m trying to capture again. Thanks!

The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin. 100%
Blackout/All Clear by Connie Willis. The last couple of chapters are beautifully connected to the entire story 🪢
The Cemetery of Forgotten Books serie: The Shadow of the Wind, The Angel’s Game, The Prisoner of Heaven, The Rose of Fire by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.
Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell
62: A Model Kit by Julio Cortazar
Edit: missed the quirky memo at first glance. These are still damn good books. Think you’d also like Deadeye Dick by Vonnegut (or anything by him, really)
Station Eleven
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern. The first time I read it I had a two week interuption in the middle so I didn’t even realize all the stories were connected. It’s one of my favourites now.
Holes – Louis Sachar
Disappearing Earth by Julia Phillips
Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCann
Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell.
Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr.
Lonesome Dove
The priory of the orange – Samantha Shannon
