Looking for a book recommendation topic on poverty, loneliness and lack of guidance

Dear community,
I'm looking for a book recommendation about how poverty, loneliness and lack of guidance impact a person's life. The reason for asking for this recommendation is because my father passed away on 24th December 2024. He's no longer with me and most of the time I think about his life and how he suffered from poverty and loneliness. He wished to start his own business but couldn't do it because of a lack of guidance and loneliness.
