Just binged the first season of that show and absolutely loved it. I loved the layered motivations for different characters to want to take down the system and the not knowing why some characters do certain things. Loved it so much that I now need something to follow it. I'm looking for an underdog to slowly take out a larger system without any "chosen one" trope or "you just gotta do X". I wanna see them slowly put the work in and watch something topple. I'm looking for something with double agents and mixed motivations and characters who were against each other being on the same page for a mission because the goal lines up with both of them in some weird Xanatos Gambit.
I have no idea if any of that made sense or is just some pipe dream ideal book. Please no epics or Brandon Sanderson
