As the crow flies, Jeffrey archer. I read it as a kid and it stayed with me, decades later.

      1. Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry (It’s a western, but you don’t have to like westerns to enjoy it. It is the best character driven book ever written imo.)
      2. We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson (Gothic horror? I dunno what genre this is. I don’t like calling it horror because it wasn’t scary to me at all. It was kind of cozy and disturbing at the same time. The book gives you so much to think about and it’s easy to reread since it’s so short.)
      3. UBIK by Philip K Dick (Scifi. My favorite Philip K Dick book. Another one that benefits from a reread. I read like the concepts in it and how it makes you question reality.)
