My thought was kinda like the Pirates of the Caribbean type of mermaid mixed with those from Disenchantment.
Generally something on the darker side. Preferably not a romance novel, I don't really like romance as the main focus of the story. Is there something like that?
Edit: I'm just now realising that this might be too specific of an ask. But it's worth a shot. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
