Sorry this is a mess idk how to even describe what I’m after so I’ll do my best…
I don’t read much but I have wanted to find a particular genre(for lack of a better term) that is just a normal people journaling their experiences during major time periods.
Im sure there’s a website that archives found journals from history I think would enjoy those types of documents.
Or maybe if there’s a fictional book series that has a spinoff or supplementary content involving minor characters that tell their own story separately from the major books but somewhat referring to it. Similar to Walking Dead’s Fear the Walking Dead series or the Star Wars game series Knights of the old Republic where you can find documents of individuals or factions detailing their origins, last days, etc without being fully tied to the main story.
