im sure this sub has seen numerous requests for books like nosferatu recently but im not after a “vampire” story, im more interested in something feverish/dreamlike, and preferably something that does include some kind of mysterious / otherworldly villain. i also think of stories like the animation ‘vampire hunter d: bloodlust’ which actually had very similar themes as nosferatu. berserk is another one with femto / griffith’s character when i imagine the type of villain and tropes im after. i don’t have the literary knowledge to explain exactly what im after but I’m sure there are other examples, can anyone help? i don’t mind reading old classics, Shakespearian lit, etc. yes i have read Dracula.
