Hello! This is the first time I am trying to get some input help regarding recommendations, so if there is any more info I could add, let me know 🙂
I have been listening to a lot of true crime audio books and want to get in some fresh air, so to say, but have been struggling with very one-sided recommendations.
So far I have mostly enjoyed books in the non-fiction genre. Here are the books I have liked so far (that are not true crime or close to it):
• Unnatural Causes: The Life and Many Deaths of Britain's Top Forensic Pathologist
• First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers
• In the Kingdom of Ice: The Grand and Terrible Polar Voyage of the USS Jeannette
Regarding suggestions I want to be as open as possible. Anything regarding Non-fiction (Historical, biographies and such) would probably be interesting. But maybe also historical fiction, that goes into a somewhat similar direction?
If you think there is something outside of these genres that might fit, I'd love to hear it as well of course, since I would like to discover new things. 🙂
What I do not what:
• True crime, obviously
• Holocaust/Nazi topics
Thanks for reading! 🙂
