I just finished reading "My Serial Killer Sister".
It's not a masterpiece but it's good. What caught my attention the most was the character of the younger sister who was annoying and her personality was so unbearable that I wished I could punch her in the face. So I'm asking you for recommendations for books that have annoying and annoying characters and it would be better if they were comedic.

[“Where’d You Go, Bernadette” by Maria Semple](https://amzn.to/40tgEw9)
This satirical and witty novel follows the eccentric and frustrating Bernadette Fox, whose disappearance sets off a hilarious journey of discovery and chaos. Her quirks and interactions with those around her make her an unforgettable, sometimes annoying, character.
[“A Confederacy of Dunces” by John Kennedy Toole](https://amzn.to/3POGeGX)
Ignatius J. Reilly is an obnoxiously pompous, absurd, and comically irritating protagonist. The book’s humor and sharp wit make his outrageous behavior entertaining and maddening at the same time.
My Year of Rest and Relaxation immediately comes to mind.
The Glass Castle & Running with Scissors are good if you don’t want the protagonist to be annoying. Both are about non-annoying people dealing with a lot of annoying people.
If you want the author themselves to be annoying, Chuck Klosterman writes like that annoying guy you meet at a party who thinks he’s hilarious. Unfortunately he actually is pretty funny, but it’s like, tone down the ego a notch, please.
