I know 2666 and The Savage Detectives are connected, and I just found out that Woes of the True Policeman is strongly connected to 2666. Are there other Bolaño novels that are even minutely connected to 2666 or The Savage Detectives?
I’ve been in a big mood to read Bolaño, and luckily my city’s libraries have a vast majority of his bibliography, but more than anything I want to reread The Savage Detectives and 2666, since it’s been at least a good 5 or so years since I’ve read both.
I just now found out that Woes of the True Policeman is essentially a bunch of stuff that wasn’t added to 2666 and is in essence a companion or sibling novel to that book.
Are there any other of Bolaño’s novels that connect with The Savage Detectives, 2666, and Woes of the True Policeman? Should I just bite the bullet and read ALL of Bolaño’s other novels?
