The book takes place in 1984, Mississippi. It’s a small quiet town that never sees much action… until the Wynds came along. Charlotte and her father Joshua Wynd fled from Alabama to Hattiesburg, Mississippi in hopes of starting a new life and leaving the old haunting memories in the past. Everything was looking great but then Charlotte’s schizophrenia started to kick in. Her mother was an extreme undiagnosed schizophrenic but Charlotte had it way worse. Once you mix that in with Charlotte’s personal life taking a huge turn, the possibilities are endless. I really loved the high intensity and pace of this book as I kept reading and reading till it was done. I highly recommend this to any readers who are fans of psycho thrillers and intense dramas.
