Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’m curious what you all do with your books after you’ve read them- the ones you don’t want to keep? Do you re-sell and if so, where?

I’ve picked up reading again just in the past few months and most books are pretty inexpensive so I just buy them, but I didn’t really think it through as now I’m now amassing a significant pile I don’t want to keep forever.

    1. Unless it is digital?

There are “Pass it forward” book corners in my local bus station and airport. Usually drop them there.

My town has a free little library down on Main St. I usually take books up there once I am done with them. A couple times, I have taken a book in to work and left it in the break room (We have a table where sometimes people put things to give away).

    3. Check if your public library has a Friends of the Library non-profit. I’m on the board of mine, and we graciously accept gently-used books for our book sales, which benefit all the library’s programs.
