My reading level is fine although I’m definitely a slow reader. I would prefer a fiction book maybe some kind of fantasy. Something good but that doesn’t take too long to finish as I’m working on training my attention span to be longer. I’m not really sure what more to say as I haven’t read consistently since middle school but I’ll answer any questions I the comments if it will help narrow it down.

One dark window – cool magic, two shorter books

Divine rivals- two people competing for the same job, magic typewriters, war. Very fun read. Two manageable sized books

read anything by brandon sanderson and you’ll be hooked! not sure if you want to get invested in a full series to start your reading journey, but he has some standalone novels that are good. i liked Tress and the Emerald Sea!

    3. I suggest Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers. Cozy, scifi that even if you save it for later, it’s short and sweet. It got me out of a reading slump a couple years ago.

If you want a more proper lengthed novel, or just something Fantasy instead. I was really hooked by In the Shadow of Lightning by Brian McClellan. It is a book one, but book 2 isn’t out yet, so if you like it, you can look forward to future books down the line. Though there is a prequel novella you can read after if you want more in the same world.

Even if it is from tv shows or movies, what are some of your favorite stories? Do you have things you like or dislike in a story? We might be able to suggest stuff in a similair vein.

In the ravenous dark by AM Strickland is a YA Fantasy that’s very easy to get into. The magic system is cool AF.
